How to make the brownies

In a medium bowl, stir together the oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add the dry mix to the oil and sugar mixture and blend well. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour into the greased pan, bake, cool, and serve!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup flour
  • 6 oz dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 9 pan.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the oil and sugar. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the dry mix into the oil and sugar mixture. Add the chocolate chips and stir until well blended.
  • Pour into a greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until sides just start to pull away from pan.
  • Cool completely before cutting.

Notes

Double the recipe and a 9 x 13 pan.  Bake 20 minutes longer.
Add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts for additional texture.
