Caprese Salad
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe red tomato
- 4 slices buffalo mozzarella cheese
- 6 large fresh basil leaves chopped
- extra virgin olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Wash and slice the tomato into ¼-½ thick slices. Layer on a plate or platter and lightly season with salt and pepper.
- Lay mozzarella cheese slices on top of the tomato slices. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
