Citrus Tarragon Marinade

Citrus Tarragon Marinade

This Citrus Tarragon Marinade is light, aromatic, and subtly complex, blending bright citrus with a gentle herbal note from tarragon. It adds fresh, sophisticated flavor to both chicken and pork.

Citrus Tarragon Marinade Ingredients

  • Orange, Lemon, and Lime Zest provide the main citrus flavor with natural oils that are more intense than juice alone. They add sweetness (orange), sharpness (lemon), and a punchy zip (lime).
  • Garlic adds depth and warmth, balancing the bright citrus notes.
  • Tarragon‘s herbaceous and slightly licorice flavor gives the marinade a distinctive, elegant twist that pairs well with citrus and light proteins.
  • Soy Sauce enhances overall flavor and provides a savory contrast to the acidity.
  • Canola Oil acts as a carrier for the flavors, helps coat ingredients evenly, and aids in moisture retention during cooking.
